Dr. Patt McGuire
Ph.D, Owner & Speaker

My name is Dr. Patt McGuire, and I'm passionate about building people up from broken places and teaching them that "You Are Not What You Have Been Through." With over 45 years of experience working with people from all walks of life, I've dedicated my career to helping others discover their true potential and build new roads to their destiny.

I hold a Ph.D. in Public Safety Leadership from Capella University, a Master's in Divinity from Eden Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice and Criminology from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. My educational background, combined with my 25+ years in law enforcement, has given me unique insights into the challenges people face and the strength they possess to overcome them.

Throughout my career, I've served as a Deputy Detention Juvenile Officer, worked in an all-male prison with over 5000 residents, and held roles as a Sunday School Teacher, Youth Counselor, Pastor, Adjunct Professor, and Online ESL Teacher. Each experience has reinforced my calling to help people work through life challenges and reimagine new starts in their lives.

As a Christian, I'm living out my "Why" - my destiny - helping people use their past as leverage to rise above painful experiences. I'm the author of two books: "I Am Who He Says I Am" and "My Best Friend is 96 Years Old." Through my writing, speaking, and coaching, I use the power of testimonies to help people understand they can transform their lives.

My work spans youth programs, schools, parenting groups, prisons, jails, men's development programs, and conferences throughout Yuma, Arizona, the United States, and internationally. Whether through face-to-face speaking, virtual events, or curriculum training, I create safe spaces where people can heal, grow, and discover their true worth.
